Alumni Referral Guide

1. Purpose
Through our Alumni Referral Program, you have an opportunity to influence Data^#3 and Business Aspect’s success. As an Alumni member, you’re in an ideal position to help us identify great candidates, as you:
• Know our company vision, values and culture and have a good understanding of whether certain candidates would align with this,
• Likely have developed strong industry networks of likeminded individuals, who possess the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in our roles, and
• May have access to candidates who aren’t actively exploring job opportunities but are open to discussions about roles which may align with their career development.
We want to encourage you to support our recruitment process through referring people from your networks to available roles across Data^#3 and Business Aspect, so as a company, we can continue to deliver world class services to our customers and communities.

2. Guidance
Through our Alumni Referral Program, you will be rewarded with a gift voucher when someone you refer is successfully hired in a permanent position or on a limited term contract over six (6) months, with Data^#3 or Business Aspect.

2.1 Employee Referral Incentive
If you refer a candidate who is hired, you will receive a $250 gift card, provided they are working with us 30 days they commence, irrespective of the role level they have been employed in.

2.2 Referral Eligibility Requirements
Alumni members are eligible to receive this bonus except:
• If they’re referring a current Data^#3 or Business Aspect permanent employee or contractor/casual/trainee,
• If the candidate who is being referred has been referred by another source (e.g. agency, existing referral or unsolicited application), in the previous three (3) months, or
• If sufficient evidence of the Alumni’s referral is not provided.

2.3 Referral Process
To submit a referral, an Alumni member needs to email the following details to Data^#3’s Talent Attraction Team (talent@data3.com.au):
• Email Subject Line: Alumni Referral for XYZ Job,
• Job number and job title which the candidate is being referred to,
• Candidates resume and contact details,
• Alumni members contact information (i.e. your details so we can organise payment),
• Brief sentence on why you feel this candidate is suitable and how you know them.

2.4 Referral Guidelines
• The referring person needs to be a previous Data^#3 or Business Aspect employee and has joined our Alumni LinkedIn Group,
• Alumni referrals must be made before any conversation/contact occurs between the Talent Attraction team and the candidate.
• All referrals received, are valid for three (3) months from the date of referral. If the candidate is not selected for the referred opportunity, their resume will remain in our database for three (3) months for future consideration to other Data^#3 and Business Aspect roles. If the candidate referred is selected for an alternative role within this three (3) month period, the Alumni member will be entitled to the gift voucher.
