Pred(ICT)or is used in the delivery stage of an offering or solution (as outlined previously). Data^#3 Pred(ICT)or is primarily based on PMBOK, but is also PRINCE2 compliant. Pred(ICT)or is applied in our IT Service Management (ITSM) engagements, which includes services that adhere to ITIL and MOF.

To ensure our customers are provided with uncompromised professional services when using Pred(ICT)or, Data^#3’s Project Managers and Business Analysts are certified in frameworks such as PMBOK, PRINCE2 and ITIL V2 and V3.

Data^#3 Pred(ICT)or is a project-hardened, independently audited and industry proven methodology that has been used to deliver a number of significant infrastructure projects for large multinational clients throughout Australia.

Data^#3’s technical delivery teams have been trained in and have utilised the Pred(ICT)or project management methodology, this ensures consistency across all delivery teams nationally. This has benefited our customers by ensuring our Project Managers and delivery engineers provide a common structured approach, which is both transparent and consistent.

Data^#3’s proven and documented approach to project implementation is illustrated in the diagram in this section which maps business and project process throughout the project lifecycle.

For many years, Data^#3’s Project Management resources have delivered successful ICT programs and projects for clients of all sizes and industry segments throughout Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. The National Project Management Office (PMO) has PMBOK and Prince2 certified project management resources located in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia servicing state-based, national and international projects.

The Data^#3 PMO is structured with a National PMO Manager, a state-based PMO lead (Senior Project Manager), Senior Project Managers, Project Managers and Project Coordinators. All Senior Project Managers and State PMO leads bring a minimum of 8 years’ project and program management experience to the PMO along with project and program management certification and a fluent knowledge of the Data^#3 Project Management Methodology, Pred(ICT)or.

All Data^#3 Project Managers are required to have several years of project delivery experience, project management certification and working/delivery knowledge of the Data^#3 Project Management Methodology, Pred(ICT)or.

The Data^#3 Project Coordinators undertake certified project management training and mentoring as part of their development plan. The success of this program is reflected in that over 40% of our Project Manager resources have graduated via the Project Coordinator program.

Within the national body of Data^#3’s PMO, our project management resources have gained industry recognised skills and qualifications directly related to project management.

The Data^#3 PMO is able to specifically apply project management resources with program management, large scale deployment, RISK management, applications, infrastructure and, business process specialisation skills to suit any specific project requirements.

Data^#3’s PMO is also able to provide a customised program or project management resourcing model tailored to any customer requirements. Both quality and cost concerns are addressed by utilising senior resources to ensure accuracy in the ‘Plan Phase’ (Initiation and Discovery).

This allows the project phases to focus on delivering the agreed outcomes to the business under defined and documented project controls. To ensure project continuity, the Senior Project resources utilised in the ‘Plan Phase’ are involved throughout the project lifecycle to provide and maintain project governance whilst the Project Manager resources are utilised to ‘deliver’ the project.
