Organisations continue to be challenged with the time, cost and complexity of procuring, managing and maintaining end user devices. The pandemic driven change in work styles has accelerated the adoption of cloud and the need for secure edge devices, at the same time organisations are challenged by pressures on CAPEX budgets and supply constraints caused by global chip shortages.
Supporting the vast growth in device usage generates a myriad of issues for over stretched IT teams. 63% of IT Managers say their resources are drained by device management and they would like to be able to focus on more strategic IT projects.
Thankfully, there’s a simple solution.
Device as a Service: a flexible approach to the provisioning, services and support of device fleets in a seamless end-to-end experience, with a predictable monthly cost.
Data#3’s Device as a Service (DaaS) includes the procurement of a modern device (tablet, laptop, desktop, printers even mobiles) from your preferred vendors, bundled with your choice of services, such as deployment and management services, analytics, security and eventual end of life recycling. Companies choose a length of service, typically three years and pay a consistent monthly cost per device.
What makes the Data#3 DaaS model different? Unlike other device management solutions, Data#3’s DaaS is a full service offering. It addresses expanding customer needs in unique ways, explore the 9 stages of our DaaS Lifecycle below to learn more.
Your dedicated DaaS Specialist will meet with your organisation to investigate your current device environment and help forecast your needs for the future. They will first discuss your fleet; the volume and variety of devices, where your devices are located and which devices best suit your users needs. Next the specialist will conduct a thorough operating system and application review, followed by an assessment of your corporate directory, Group Policy and network.
During this initial planning phase we will also perform a security gap analysis and discuss a data management strategy with you. Lastly your DaaS specialist will look at your helpdesk requirements, warranty expectations and agree on SLAs and your preferred finance option.
